 Its seven peaks are said to symbolize the seven fauna of Sheshnag. These peaks are called Seshadri, Neeladri, Garudadri, Anjanadri, Vrishtadri, Narayanadri and Venkatadri. Among these, Lord Vishnu is crowned on the peak of Venkatadri and for this reason he is known as Venkateswara. The hair on the idol of Lord Venkateswara Swami in this temple is said to be real. Because these hairs never get tangled ... always remain uniform soft. For this reason, people believe that here is the abode of the God. A special type of Pacha Kapoor is used for cleaning the idol of Lord Tirupati Balaji.

 If this camphor is rubbed on a stone or a wall, it licks at the same time. But the idol of Lord Balaji does not harm anything with this camphor. Lord Tirupati Balaji is completely covered with sandalwood on Thursday of the week… and when this lap is cleaned, a statue of Lakshmi itself emerges in the idol itself. It remains a mystery till date, how it can happen. 

Balaji is seen thrice a day in the temple. The first darshan is called Vishwaroop, which occurs in the morning. The second darshan takes place in the afternoon and the third darshan takes place at night. Apart from these, there are other darshans, for which different fees are prescribed. There is no charge for the first three views. The entire idol of Lord Balaji can be seen only at the time of consecration on Friday morning.
